Don’t panic! You still have 41 days left to book your place at the GTC Christmas Party 2015 but the tickets will sell fast and no one wants to miss out on the social event of the year!
Thankfully, there are 100 places for this year’s festive event on Thursday December 3 but, as we’ve said, the event will be popular, especially as it’s a dinner and ceilidh format.
Our enthusiastic social secretary Emma McIntyre has come up with the new-style Christmas event and booked us an evening at Sloans Ballroom in Argyll Arcade, just off Argyle Street, Glasgow.
Sloans is famous for being one of the city’s oldest bars and has also hosted ceilidh parties in the impressive ballroom for many decades. Ceilidh dancing at Sloans is a must-try Glasgow activity!
The evening kicks off at 6:30pm for a 7:15pm start and the bar will be open on arrival. There will be a meal, followed by the much-anticipated GTC awards, this year presented by a special guest speaker (we hope!).
After this, the ceilidh band will play until midnight followed by our own music until 1am.
The cost of the evening is £35 per person. Booking and payment is available only through entrycentral GTC Christmas Party. (Please note that bookings will close on November 23 at midnight.)
