Nutrition stuff 2010/02/02 17:12
As can't be bothered doing the 'economy' fruit juice / water / pinch of salt combo in Lanza decided to treat myself (I really know how to push the boat out hey ) to some ready made stuff and these guys were (a) cheap (b) mega quick with delivery so if you're indeed of updating your powerbar collection might be worth a look:

mind you, didn't exactly spend hours researching so feel free to post up if you've found even more bargainous stuff

Sir Chris Hoy uses SiS Re-Go as his post work out tipple for refuelling/recovery. It doesnt mention the Johnny Fartpants side effects on the carton though! Their products do dissolve and mix easily and the wee measure lines on their bottles for the different products make dosing easy.

can confirm that sprts science has confirmed that chocolate milk is a good post-exercise option.

As for SIS it's a favourite amongst the club gingers. also my post grad supervisor who's an EIS sports nutritionist uses SIS with his athletes.
the PSP22 is rocket fuel and the GO electrolyte seems to work well for staying hydrated is warmer weather.

if thise is something that people are interested I ill get you the SIS nutrition factsheets or can put some more stuff together myself.
