Please have your Kit Order to David Wilson by Friday 19th March 2010!

The order form (link above) is in Excel format so you can fill it in save it as 'your name - GTC Kit Order 2010' and email it back to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and post/give me a cheque at one of the club sessions.  If you are not up for that then just print out the form, fill it in and post it back to me with a cheque made payable to 'Glasgow Triathlon Club' to the address at the top of the form.

Note - Ladies please mark with a 'W' in the column provided on the order form so that you get a womans pad with your kit!

Sizing - It is also important to note that all the garments are Unisex fit with just a male and female pad in them.  Please read the sizing information in the PDF catalogue booklet (link above) to ensure you get the best size for you!

For the really dinky and the errr not so dinky amongst us there are 'extreme sized' garments of the full range available (XXS and XXXL) but at a 15% surcharge due to the additional cost of them being cut to order.

Payment - All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT so bear that in mind before going completely bonkers with your order!  There is a sliding scale of discounts depending on the size of our order but after the faff of refunding last year we have decided to go with a flat discount of 25% including the 10% additional discount from Edura for the delay with the order last year.

Please have your Kit Order to me by Friday 19th March 2010!

There is full details of the custom kit on the endura website http://www.endura.co.uk/Dept.aspx?dept_id=134 but if you have any queries please email me at the above address!

David Wilson - Triathlon Scotland National Volunteer of the Year

David devotes a significant amount of time regularly week in, week out to; planning club development, supporting the committee and coaches, volunteering at events, communicating with local sports council and authority partners, other clubs and the governing body staff and exec. Even when at training sessions or activities as a member he is rarely ‘off duty’ and is always alert to others needs and the opportunity to help or recruit other volunteers.

Since assuming the President’s role in January, David’s level of involvement and time commitment has increased significantly, although he consistently plays down his contribution and stresses the input and achievements of others. He has assumed the lead in difficult times and taken  a backseat to allow the wider team to take praise.

He quickly assumed the role and responsibilities of President and has excelled in it, his personality and motivational skills are central to his ability to recruit, retain and reward volunteers and an asset to the club’s management. An infectious sense of fun acts as a counterbalance to his administrative efficiency and ability to act within operating requirements-both providing a positive example to others.

David is also a keen athlete and has found the time, somehow to represent the club regularly over the last 2 years at events in the UK.

We're delighted that his contribution has been recognised as winner of the triathlonscotland National Volunteer of the Year Award and support his nomination at the British Triathlon Federation Awards which he will attend on 14th Novemeber in Loughborough.
