So, February is swiftly upon us and believe me, March will be even quicker then it will be race season!!!
Are you prepared?
If not, come along to the next RACE FOCUS GROUP SESSION.
We will be doing a BLEEP TEST and looking at HOW TO RACE.
BLEEP TEST (with Sean Webster) – is a tried and tested method of testing your Vo2max and general fitness relative to your age. It takes around 20mins to run, and we will include a full warm up and a cool down. You’ll need running kit for this. At the moment, I’ll have to say be prepared to be outdoors for the test, although we are trying to secure an indoor location in the bigger gym hall at the High School. Bring a change of clothes too, please.
HOW TO RACE – should you race the same at every event? Should one race have a different focus to another? Do you always race to WIN or do you race to learn?
Our group work session will involve a close look at your race calendar events, so bring a note of them or bring your race calendar/programme/device with you.
THE BLEEP TEST IS OPEN TO ALL CLUB MEMBERS.
HIGH SCHOOL OF GLASGOW, small gym (unless otherwise updated).
