GTC Board of Trustees has issued an update on the development the club’s new strategy. First, the club wants to say a huge thanks to everyone who responded to the recent survey.
Almost 170 members responded, which represents more than a third of our membership. The quality and variety of the responses was great and provides a valuable insight into how the club should develop the thinking on our future strategy.
The next stage is to create a Strategy Steering Forum to finalise the strategy. The club is keen to encourage some members to join the committee and trustees as the exercise is finalised.
There will be three sessions to attend and each will last between 45 minutes and an hour to discuss:
- Culture and legacy,
- Vision, strategic direction and goals,
- Enhancing our charitable objectives,
- Funding/building the brand,
- Building a legacy for current and future members.
